How to repair a zipper
A faulty zipper slider can be replaced with our repair kit. All you need is a pair of wire cutters and needle-nose pliers. The full process is explained step by step in the instructions.
Instructions

On the garment, fully unzip the zipper and carefully remove the top stop from the zipper chain using wire-cutter pliers.

Remove the old zipper slider.

Install the new zipper slider by threading it onto the top of the zipper teeth. You can angle the zipper tape to make threading easier. Make sure the pull tab is facing outward.

Using the needle-nose pliers, gently squeeze the lower part of the slider to tighten the opening.

Place the new top stop on the zipper tape just above the last zipper tooth. Use needle-nose pliers to crimp the legs of the top stop securely around the fabric edge.

Test the zipper by moving the slider to the top. If the top stop stays in place, the zipper is fully repaired.
